Nitto Belgium N.V.

Nitto Belgium in Genk is the biggest production site of the Japanese multinational Nitto Denko Corporation in Europe. The company has been established in 1974. The site in Genk manufactures industrial double-sided tapes and surface protection tapes as well as sealing materials for worldwide industries like automotive, consumer electronics, furniture, glass, aerospace and metal processing.

In January 2020, Nitto Belgium installed the widest coating line in the world to produce up to 3.3 m wide surface protection tape for the glass industry. This film is a key product to manufacture low-e glass which lowers the energy consumption of large glass buildings drastically.

The company realized a turnover of 220 million euro in fiscal year 2019-2020 with a little over 600 employees.
