FEICA Secretary General Kristel Ons invites Afera Members to use the jointly revised publication intended to maintain harmonised terminology and market segmentation

The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC), the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry (FEICA) and the China Adhesives and Tape Industry Association (CATIA) have partnered to update and harmonise adhesive and sealant industry terms, definitions, and market segmentation in this unique reference guide for our entire industry. The ASC-CATIA-FEICA Adhesives and Sealants Classification Manual allows all stakeholders in the global adhesive and sealants industry, including Afera members, to refer to harmonised definitions and compare industry market data among North America, the European Union and Asia. The revision includes the latest innovations in technologies and applications used, allowing companies to have comparable data for sound business decisions.

In 2020-2021 ASC, FEICA, and CATIA collaborated on an important industry reference guide containing definitions, segments and key applications of adhesive and sealant technology families and end-use market segments and sub-segments. This document updates and replaces the previous classification manual. Readers of industry market reports from ASC, FEICA and CATIA will now be able to refer to these harmonised definitions and compare industry market data among North America, the European Union, and Asia.
