Coating company with development potential for sale

Situated on a 20,000-m² site between Rome and Naples, a coating company founded in 1999 is looking to be taken over or for an investor. Current annual production within the 6,800-m² buildings of the facility is 60 million m² of protective films, but at full capacity this could reach 200 million m².

Aqueous PSA acrylic dispersions are utilised, and conversion to solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives is possible. There is also capacity to manufacture additional self-adhesive materials. Custom coating is possible.

The 2 coating lines currently installed:

• Coating width: 2,480 mm, length of drying channel: 20 m, max. coating speed: 250 m/min, coating range 0,2 oz/ft², 60 g/m² wet
• Coating width: 2,600 mm, length of drying channel: 22 m, max. coating speed: 350 m/min, coating range 0,2 oz/ft², 60 g/m² wet

Modern converting machines turn the jumbo rolls into sellable products distributed in 35 countries worldwide. A wide variety of market segments are covered, including automotive, steel, plastics, laminates and carpets.
