During evaluation, ECHA and the EU member states will examine the quality of the registration dossiers and the testing proposals to clarify if given substances constitute a risk to human health or the environment. They may then decide to ban or restrict substances. Tape manufacturers and raw materials suppliers must constantly check which chemicals are under evaluation and keep up with relevant EU discussions taking place on those chemicals.
